AMI will participate in the 2008 Intel Developer Forum (IDF) taking place August 19-21, 2008 at the Moscone West Convention Center in San Francisco, California. The Intel Developer Forum (IDF) provides an established forum for developers, designers, technology influencers, decision makers and business leaders who are developing and launching the next wave of technology-driven products and services to share ideas, collect peer feedback and garner increased exposure.

COMPUTEX Taipei 2008

AMI will host a booth at this year's COMPUTEX with a focus on AMIBIOS suitability for low-cost notebook, ultra-mobile PC, and "netbook" solutions at this year’s COMPUTEX. The booth will feature demonstrations and displays of AMIBIOS solutions for a number of these platforms from leading manufacturers.COMPUTEX TAIPEI has become the largest computer exhibition in Asia and the second largest in the world, next to CeBIT in Germany. Each year, key global businesses come to this event to launch their new products. Since a large portion of the businesses in the world have research and deployment centers or production facilities in Taiwan, this exhibition attracts observers, analysts, and journalists of computer and information industries from all over the world to discover and report the latest technologies, developments, and trends.

Storage Networking World (SNW)

American Megatrends (AMI) demonstrated its StorTrends® iTX Storage Software for the AMD Storage Bridge Bay (SBB) 2.0 RDK and the Tyan Transport GT24 Storage Server with an AMD Opteron™ 64 Processor at the Storage Networking World, from Monday, April 7th to Wednesday, April 10th, 2008, at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida.
 
The demonstrations were held in the AMD booth # 706 and highlighted the recently released StorTrends iTX data storage software solutions for these two systems, both featuring AMD processors with Direct Connect Architecture. SNW attendees witnessed firsthand the unique capability of StorTrends iTX to handle enterprise-level data storage management, with a robust feature set that includes Advanced Snapshots, Synchronous and Asynchronous Replication, High Availability, Information Lifecycle Management, and much more, all accessible through a "single pane of glass" web-based GUI interface.

UEFI Plugfest

The UEFI Technology Conference will be held at AMD Headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA the week of Sept 24th, 2007. The conference will consist of a plugfest event and advanced technical training sessions. One key focus of the plugfest will be to test the boot and installation process for UEFI support on Windows PCs.
